BluePoint Planning supported the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in managing and facilitating a multi-stakeholder Working Group, anticipating a level of complexity and conflict. The legislatively directed Carbon and Forest Management Work Group was tasked with identifying the most effective approach to balance forest health, timber revenues, and the economy with atmospheric carbon sequestration and storage in DNR-managed forests.

BluePoint helped to design, strategize, manage, and facilitate 14 monthly, full-day, online meetings for the 12-person work group. For each meeting, BluePoint created a detailed meeting plan supporting topical and critical decision-making with DNR, developing the agenda, facilitation plan, and meeting materials.
