BluePoint Planning assisted the County in developing a Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan that provides a roadmap for parks improvements, maintenance, and operations to improve the value, visibility, and availability of these important assets while promoting resilience to climate change impacts. The project included extensive community engagement and a county-wide advisory committee, parks and trails mapping, needs assessment, and recommendations for increasing recreation programming and trails throughout the County. BluePoint also provided a climate assessment to better understand how parks may contribute to addressing climate impacts such as wildfire, drought, and flooding.
