BluePoint in partnership with Gates & Associates developed a new Plan to provide a strong implementation tool linking to existing and current planning efforts (including the General Plan and the Bike and Pedestrian Plan), while embracing and addressing changes in trends, demographics and economic realities. After recovering from a challenging time for the City, it was ready to focus on creating updated parks to serve the community and the large number of visitors. The Parks Master Plan includes an evaluation of existing parks, community needs, and trends and provides priorities and recommendations for each existing park as well as new parks to meet the City’s needs for now and the future.
