BluePoint, in partner with Rincon Consulting helped the City of Campbell develop its first Climate Action & Adaptation Plan (CAAP) to set specific targets that align with statewide emissions reduction goals and help Campbell achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. To ensure the Plan is grounded in community-lived experience BluePoint lead the development of a Community Advisory Committee that stood as a representative body to dive deeper on key points and to support the engagement of the larger community. BluePoint focused engagement on vulnerable communities by partnering with four Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), created outreach materials, and held trainings to engage organizations to reach youth, non-English speaking audiences, low-income audiences, and those with health issues. With CBO partnerships, 5,883 people were engaged through this year and a half planning process.
