BluePoint Article Published in SERCAL’s Ecesis Journal

We are happy to share that our article, Bridging Climate Justice and Nature-Based Solutions: Santa Clara County’s Collaborative Approach to Heat and Flood Resilience, was published in the Summer 2026 issue of the California Society for Ecological Restoration’s news journal, Ecesis. The article outlines our innovative and collaborative approach to developing an actionable resilience framework for Santa Clara County.

Principal Mindy Flynn gave a presentation of the same name at the 2026 SERCAL Conference in Fortuna. The Santa Clara County Resilience Strategy Project was led by BluePoint Planning, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara Office of Sustainability and Resilience and Climate Resilient Communities (CRC), with additional help from Community Agency for Resources, Advocacy, and Services (CARAS). It was funded by the National Coastal Resilience Fund from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
