Across the United States, local governments are facing a paradox: communities urgently need more housing, climate adaptation, mobility options, public infrastructure, economic resilience, and social trust; yet, many jurisdictions remain stuck in slow-moving systems that struggle to deliver projects, build consensus, or sustain public confidence.

In this training series, we will explore a practical framework for operationalizing “abundance” at the local government level through the creation of durable civic infrastructure. While policy reform and funding are important, trust, clarity, strategic alignment, and long-term civic relationships are the foundational conditions necessary for governments to move faster, make better decisions, and sustain public support.
